Is it up?

If it says the server isn't answering

Usually one of three things, and none of them need you to do anything:

1. A restart. Under a minute.
2. An outage. One server runs the whole world, so when it is down it is down for everyone.
3. Your own network blocking it, which some office and school networks do.

Give it a couple of minutes before assuming the worst.
